BEX BARAONA COACHING DAYS
A days coaching with a current Enduro World Series riders Bex Baraona. Bex finished 7th overall in the 2016 Enduro World Series ahead of many big name riders, which was an amazing result. In 2017 Bex is currently sitting in the top 10 with more racing to happen before the final results are in.
This is your chance to spend a day being coached by Bex and WeRide on the same tracks that made Steve Peat the rider he is today. Grenoside and Wharncliffe Woods are an area of varied terrain allowing different riding skills to be developed and practiced in a single day.
The day is aimed at competent riders wanting to fine tune and improve the skills they have and to learn some new techniques form one of the top women riding the EWS in 2016.
Bex Baraona Coaching Day
As a rider many of us want to improve our standard of riding to the next level, always looking for the next challenge to ride steeper and more natural trails away from the trail centres.
Or maybe you are an aspiring Enduro or downhill racer and want to improve your race results.
The course will analyse the current skills you have, building on these and strengthening the core skills then introduce new techniques and look at line choice, cornering, pumping, jumping and riding steep technical terrain.
With guidance from Bex Baraona we will look at areas to make you a faster, smoother rider and give you more control and confidence.
Be a competent rider already riding off road technical trails

I just wanted to drop you a quick note and a sincere thank you for the excellent day I spent with you guys on the Bex Barona coaching day. As a seasoned (more than 25 if I count!) and reasonably capable MTBer it can become easy to fall into the ‘old dogs / new tricks’ school of thought. However, after a structured day’s coaching I feel that my technique has already much improved, and I have plenty of ideas to work on ready for the season ahead. WeRide coach Ben provides a really good foundation, constructively analyse my riding style /technique, taking the time to carefully explain new concepts, (e.g. body position) and help ironing out some bad habits. With the addition of Bex to provide the ‘enduro’ eye for discussing different lines and approaches, the two of you made a great team. The day was structured really well and I think suitable for anybody who would classify themselves as competent off-road. Highly recommended (as was the cake and coffee!) and despite the freezing conditions I had a great day learning on the bike!
