Peak District Pedal in the Dark Peak

The Peak District is a an area of two halves with the northern Dark Peak being made up of moorlands, woodlands and steep climbs and descents and the White Peak and its limestone trails, open farmland and undulating hills.
This provides a unique adventure with two different riding areas in close proximity with it being possible to cross between the two areas on the same ride.
This weekend adventure is a coming together of 2 days of natural trail riding in some of the most stunning scenery and awesome trails in the Peak District National Park.
Both days we will be out for the full day riding the trails in the area with a scheduled lunch stop where there will be the opportunity to have a bite to eat, relax and get ready for the second half of the ride
Itinerary
Day 1
Day 2
For day one we will be based from the Hope Valley riding from the door of the accommodation over the hills and open moorland towards the valleys beyond. The route will include some of the more well known trails such as Jacobs Ladder, The Beast and Screaming Mile as well as some lesser know trails that the locals ride. The day will provide stunning views and long fun descents meaning an awesome day is enjoyed by all riders. Day 1 is approx 40K in distance but no one will be left behind on the ride and the pace will be social.
Day two will be spent riding the Dark Peak on different trails from the day one. With some long climbs that make the descents equally as long and fun filled.
Day 2 is is approx 30k in distance with some amazing views of the Peak District and beyond. No one will be left behind on the ride and the pace will be social.
Accommodation
Enjoy a good night’s sleep in a private bunkhouse booked for our party. The bunkhouse is well equipped with a rural location and at the bottom of one of the best descents in the Peak District.
A home cooked breakfast with continental options will be available for you each morning to set you up for the 2 days of guided riding, as well as a home cooked meal at the end of each day.
Set in a great rural location the accommodation has a open fire / log burner and a BBQ area.
Bike storage, lockers, laundry, drying rooms are also provided.

To book your place please complete the adventure booking form with your details, the number of riders in your group. £100 deposit per person is payable at the time of booking with the remaining £115 balance payable 2 weeks before the weekend. We will confirm your booking within 48hrs of receiving your deposit.
