GNAR BIKE PARK COACHING DAYS

Gnar Bike Park is very much based around sessioning tracks, the different features and the jumps and drops. The track range in difficulty with the features and the tracks themselves becoming more technical making them ideal for learning new skills and fine tuning your existing ones.

Bike Park Basics

Taking you back to the beginning and working on those core skills.

As a rider many of us want to improve our standard of riding to the next level, always looking for the next challenge to ride steeper and more natural trails away from the trail centres.

Or maybe you are an aspiring Enduro or downhill racer and want to improve your race results.

In order to progress we need to make sure the basics are firmly in place to give you as a rider to best skills and knowledge to progress your riding.

The course will analyse the current skills you have, building on these and strengthening the core skills then introduce new techniques and look at line choice.

 

 

PRE-REQUISITS:

  • Having ridden off road before.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • A bike in fully working order

  • Appropriate safety gear including helmet (open or full face), knee pads, gloves

  • Lunch and drinks


Cost per person: £50.00 (Park Entry not included)

Maximum Group Size: 8

Improve Flow and Speed on Technical Trails

Ever wondered how the rider in front of you just seems to pull away down the trail from you and it looks effortless?

Carrying momentum (flow) down the trail is the key to this and its not just about getting off the brakes!!

The course is an ideal follow on from our Bike Park Basics session adding further skills and techniques to your riding but its not a pre- requisite to have done this course before hand.

The course will look at grip points, body position on the bike, when to go and not to go full speed, reading the terrain ahead and cornering techniques all aimed at improving your flow down the trail.

PRE-REQUISITS:

  • Having ridden bike parks before or be a confident off road rider

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • A bike in fully working order

  • Appropriate safety gear including helmet (open or full face), knee pads, gloves

  • Lunch and drinks

Improve you GNAR!

Concentrating on corner speed, jumps and drops will enable you to Improve Your GNAR!!

 

Getting these techniques right will not only give you more control down the trail but will most importantly put a big smile on your face at the end of the trail.

Starting with the basics the course will progress through the different trails at Gnar Bike Park using the different size features found on the trails.

 

Combining increased cornering speed, correct jumping and dropping techniques will improve your confidence when riding knowing you have the skills to ride these sorts of features.
