The Scottish Borders is famous for its off-piste trails at Glentress, Innerleithen & the Golfie and has hosted many Enduro races as well as epic weekends of riding over the years.

THE ADVENTUER
If mountain biking has a capital in Scotland, it’s here in the Borders. World-famous trails, breathtaking landscapes, and a buzzing bike community make this region a bucket-list destination for riders of all levels.
The legendary trail centres of Glentress and Innerleithen are the crown jewels—Glentress with its flowing singletrack and epic climbs, and Innerleithen being the gravity hub, serving up fast, technical descents that draw riders from across the globe.
Beyond the trail centres, the Borders opens into wild hills and forest paths where every ride feels like an adventure waiting to be discovered.
The world famous off-piste trails in the area draw the worlds top riders to trails at the Golfie, Thornielee, Yair and Cademuir and beyond to the Glentress off-piste.
And it’s not just about the trails—this is a place built for bikers. Rider-friendly cafés, welcoming pubs, specialist bike shops, and a calendar full of events mean you’ll find the perfect blend of adventure and community. Whether you’re here for a weekend of flowy fun or a full-blown riding holiday, the Scottish Borders gives you trails, atmosphere, and memories you won’t forget.
Epic rides. Endless trails. A true mountain biking mecca. The Scottish Borders is waiting for you.

Woodland Singletrack
The Borders have some of the best singletrack in the UK. Must ride trails such at NY NY, Flat White, Community Service, Thunderstruck, B-side to name just a few.

Open Moorland
Climbing to the top of the hills not only gives you amazing views (weather permitting) but the chance to ride above the tree line with the feeling of high mountain singletrack.
