Flat White Reopens

After many, many hours of digging we are happy to announce Flat White is officially open!

A massive thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped to get this project finished (mainly @shay.hayton, @wesfife155 and @sausage07358).

And a not so massive thank you to everyone that rode the trail while it was closed, which is part of the reason it took so long.

Please do your first lap with caution as it is not the same trail as it was and be courteous to other trail users. Please avoid pushing up the trail as there may be lots of traffic, just do another lap!

As aprt of the ongoing trails improvements / maintenance at the Golfie you will see new posts at the start of some of the trails (Picture above).

Why / what are they for you may ask?

They include grid references so you can easily / quickly locate yourselves. The signs at the start have a QR code which will lead to information regarding the trail status and any forestry operations ongoing that may affect the trail.

Marker posts at the end of the trails include a QR code for a trail report on Trailforks, this simplifies reporting any issues to the TVTA for a specific trail. Also included in this QR code is an option to either become asupporter of the TVTYA through membership or make a single donation towards assisting the TVTA to keep maintaining, improving and sustaining the trails for all riders.
