Course Description
The Beginners Coach and Ride focuses on the fundamentals of mountain biking allowing you to gain confidence and ensure you have the basic riding techniques to build confidence and control out of the trails. During the morning we will spend time learning the specific skills that are fundamental to mountain biking to allow you the rider to progress with confidence and control while maintaining flow down the trail. In the afternoon we will head out onto carefully chosen trails where you will be able to practice your new skills under the guidance of the coach from the morn ing session. You will learn: - Effective body position for trail riding - Braking technique - Cornering basics - How to neutralise the trail These skills will give you the fundamentals of maintaining control and confidence as you progress your mountain bike journey.
